APM begins construction on former Holland College site

SUMMERSIDE –APM has begun work on a new project at the site of the former Holland College property that will see three nationally based tenants coming to Summerside.

Company CEO Tim Banks said the project involves an approximately 10,000 square foot building that will be the home to retail and food operations.

The project will be situated in the parking lot area but will evolve into the entire parcel being developed.

It has not been revealed who will be going into the new building. Those announcements are expected to come later from the individual businesses.

Welsh Owen Building to host art show by Maria Campbell and Rebecca Ford

Island artist Maria Campbell will display this piece along with many others, as well as art by Rebecca Ford, at the Welsh Owen Building on Lower Queen Street in the evening of December 17th and 18th, 2013.

CHARLOTTETOWN – Island-born mixed media artists Maria Campbell and Rebecca Ford will host an art show titled, Industrial Imagination: Finding beauty in today’s everyday at the Welsh Owen Building on December 17th and 18th, 2013.
