CHARLOTTETOWN – Nancy MacRae, CMA, MBA, joins APM’s head office as Director of Finance.

After an extensive executive search that brought in applications from across Canada, Ms. MacRae, a native islander was chosen from a number of highly qualified candidates to become the Director of Finance for APM to support the growth and development of APM’s construction activities across Canada.

MacRae obtained her Bachelor of Commerce Degree, and her Master of Business Administration from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax Nova Scotia and her Certified Management Accountant Designation from CMA Nova Scotia. Nancy has a wealth of experience starting with the Bank of Nova Scotia out of high school to a position of being the senior financial executive in the Maritimes for the Orleans Group. Nancy has had a career with positions of ever increasing responsibility. Once she found her career path she proceeded to gain the skills through a succession of courses and programs from Holland College to St. Mary’s University to the CMA program and finally the MBA program over a number of years.

VP of Finance Terry Palmer explains how APM’s growth demanded a new staff member to support the financial responsibilities of the company.
