APM and Walmart host store re-openings at two locations

Oct 17 2012

EDMONTON - Inc. recently completed two renovation projects for Walmart Canada in Collingwood, Ontario and South Gate Centre, Edmonton, Alberta. With a combined budget of over 5 million dollars, these projects allowed Walmart Canada to announce that October was its biggest month of store openings in its history.

Walmart Canada operates a growing network of more than 300 stores across the country, employing over 85,000 Canadians. Every Walmart Canada store carries close to 80,000 different products and services ranging from apparel and home decor to electronics and grocery, plus specialty services such as pharmacies, garden centres, tire and lube express auto centres and vision centres.

APM President of Construction Services Duane Lamont describes what it means for APM to work with Walmart.

“To have a distinguished company like Walmart as a satisfied client shows our potential clients that APM is capable of producing top-notch results for large scale stores.”

Walmart Collingwood and South Gate held open houses last week to display APM’s work to the public.

APM has been in charge of multiple Walmart projects in the past and expects to do more in the future.
