Ian Harper

Ian Harper has designed and managed over $400 million worth of design build projects throughout Atlantic Canada. Ian has over 15 years of progressive responsibility with the APM team, and has led the design, budgeting, contract administration and construction management for a variety of design build projects for private, corporate and government clients. Ian is a valuable resource for generating and assessing potential value engineering measures due to his background in both managing design and working as a construction manager. Under Ian’s leadership, APM’s engineering department is able to provide complete ‘in-house’ design services including Municipal Planning, Concept Design, Building Design, Civil Design, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management and 3D Rendering. Over the years Ian has taken the lead role for APM in dealing with municipal, provincial and federal authorities. Ian’s recent experience includes project management and design of APM’s corporate head office and the redevelopment of 3711 Joseph Howe Drive, the new head office for Loblaw Properties Atlantic. Ian has recently taken on the lead role for the provision of construction management services for the $22 million Ambulatory Care Centre addition to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
