APM CONGRATULATES RESIDENTS OF CHARLOTTE
COURT SENIORS’ FACILITY ON A SUCCESSFUL MOVE
August 17, 2011
CHARLOTTE COURT – Tim Banks, CEO of APM, extends his
congratulations to the new residents of the new and improved Charlotte
Court Seniors’ Facilities.
The
new facilities officially opened today at an event at the new facility.
The apartments were built by Inc. and MacLean
Construction, both of which are locally owned and operated. Banks
and his team oversaw the build and could not be happier with the final
product.
According to Banks, the response to the new
facilities have been overwhelmingly positive.
“The seniors that I’ve spoken with have been
enthusiastic about their new apartments,” says Banks. “My team and I
were determined to build state-of-the-art high-quality apartments for
our aging population and I’m proud to say that we did just that.”
The build was a partnership between the federal
government, the provincial government, APM and Killam Properties.
Banks says that the partnership was an immense success and that
transferring the building to Killam’s hands was a seamless transition.
“Killam and the government were very professional,
committed, and capable partners in this build. The seniors were
and are the main priority and at the end of the day, we have made the
lives of some seniors on the Island easier,” says Banks. “I would
like to extend well-wishes on behalf of APM to the new residents of
Charlotte Court.”
