Tim Banks,
President
Tim is also the principal
shareholder of APM, as well as a director and
principal in a number of other companies involved in
commercial real estate, retailing and manufacturing. He is
involved as an active partner in a variety of retail
property development projects throughout Atlantic Canada.
Tim is a certified engineering technologist with 30 years of
experience in all aspects of construction and property
development. Tim’s strength has been in creating and
developing a number of diverse, multi-faceted companies
involved in construction and real estate development in
Canada since first establishing APM in 1980.
He is well known in the Island community not only as a
business leader, but also for his commitment to creating
opportunities for future business growth.

Brian Gillis, V.P. of Business Development
Brian is an Architect and was Principal partner in the
Island-based architectural firm of Gillis and Guimond, where
he provided professional design and planning services to a
wide range of clients throughout Prince Edward Island for
over 20 years.
Brian joined APM in 1995 and has been
instrumental in strengthening the Design-Build Services of
the company. Brian holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design
and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Technical University
of Nova Scotia and is a member of the Architects Association
of Prince Edward Island and the Royal Architecture Institute
of Canada.

Terry Palmer,
V.P. of Finance
Terry is responsible for the financial administration of all
operating companies within the APM Group. Terry’s day-to-day
responsibilities include all aspects of reporting, banking
relations, group financing, and financial assessments for
new projects.
Terry has 22 years of experience acting as a
Public Accountant in various offices in Atlantic Canada
including the last nine as a partner in his own firm, Palmer
& Shea Chartered Accountants. Terry joined APM in
1999 after being the external accountant for APM since 1991.

Fred Henderson,
Director of Corporate Development
Fred’s experience in development began while working for
Architectural firms in the Toronto area. After a five-year
period, Fred was offered and accepted a position as Project
Manager and Director of Design with the Oshawa Group which
operated Supermarkets, Department stores and Drug stores in
the Canada marketplace. In 1976 he left the Oshawa
Group and began a 27 year career with the Loblaw
organization that would eventually lead to his appointment
as Sr. Vice President of Store Development and Construction
for Canada. It was during this time that Fred
developed his leadership skills in Design, Store Planning
and Construction for Loblaw’s operating banners in Ontario,
Quebec and Atlantic Canada. In addition Fred spent 6 years
overseeing the development and renovation program for Holt
Renfrew stores across Canada. After retiring from Loblaws in
2004, Fred joined Perennial Inc. where he began development
of an Execution and Implementation division under the name
Perennial Solutions Inc. Recently Fred assumed
responsibilities as an executive with APM working
closely with the APM Construction team and assisting them in
developing a greater capacity in Atlantic Canada and
Ontario.

Dennis Wadden,
P. Eng.,
V.P. & General
Manager
of Operations (Ontario)
Dennis has worked on various projects with APM Construction
since May 1994 and was recently appointed to his new
position in Ontario to develop and grow the business in the
Central Canada region. He is responsible for the
coordination and administrative phases of all construction
projects, such as planning, estimating, costing and
accounting.
Dennis has had significant experience and
manages the delivery of onsite, store installations and
minor construction services. Dennis has been directly
responsible for the execution of approximately 40 new
design-build projects ranging form 10,000 to 90,000 square
feet; 20 major expansion projects; and over 100 interior
renovations in his career with APM.

Duane Lamont, P .Eng.,
V.P. and General Manager
of
Operations (Atlantic)
Duane has been with
APM Construction since June 1991. He is
responsible for all projects, including on-site construction
activities, project scheduling, field engineering, the
coordination of all sub-trade disciplines and the
supervision of company employees. Duane has supervised a
wide range of projects including numerous innovative grocery
stores and the expansion and renovation of various retail
and commercial buildings, which are delivered through a
successful design-build program.
Some of the projects Duane
has been involved with include supervision and coordination
of Superstore Developments in Charlottetown and Summerside
expansion and renovation of the Mark’s Work Warehouse
/Subway in Exhibition Plaza, Saint John, and on the
relocation of the oil line and expansion of the Lancaster
Mall. Other projects on Prince Edward Island include the
Belvedere Plaza re-development in Charlottetown, the new
Southport Home Centre in Stratford, the new Town Centre in
Montague and the Greenwich Interpretive Centre in the new
National Park.

Kent Walker, Director of Construction
(Atlantic)
Employed with APM Construction since 1998, Kent
was recently appointed to his new position and works out of
the APM office in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Over the past five
years Kent has successfully completed numerous projects on
time and within budget.
Kent started with APM as a
Superintendent and quickly advanced to the position of
Senior Project Manager. Kent has typically managed multiple
projects at one time, with varying degrees on complicity,
schedule, and value ranging from $100,000 - $8,000,000.

Ian Harper, P.Eng.,
Director of Engineering
Ian is a Civil Engineer and has worked on a variety of
projects for APM since February 1994. Ian plays a
key role in providing the delivery of design documentation
for all projects, and works with a team of leading edge
engineers and CAD technicians. Ian also oversees the
production of site planning and civil design requirements,
and provides leadership and direction to store planning ,
complete building design and estimating.

Paul Daley,
Corporate Controller
Paul
has been employed with APM since March 1992. With over 30
years business experience, Paul is currently responsible for
cash management and internal financial reporting;
Additionally he oversees Human Resources, Safety, and our
Benjamin Moore/House of Excellence retail operation in West
Royalty.
Paul began his career with APM as controller. When
APM purchased Southport Home Hardware in 1998, Paul assumed
the challenge of management of the operation. He helped to
set up and develop the new store which doubled in both size
and sales, managing a staff of over 100 employees. When the
Home Hardware operation was sold Paul was asked to return to
his current position as part of our senior management team.

Heather Joudrie, G.M. for APM Properties
Heather
has been employed with APM since January 2000.
Heather has worked in various areas for APM with the last
five years spent as controller of Southport Home Hardware.
In December 2005, Heather transferred into APM Properties as
controller and in May 2007 assumed the role of General
Manager.
Heather is responsible for leasing, managing and
marketing the various property holdings through out PE, NS
and NB. Property holdings range from raw development land,
serviced residential subdivisions, serviced industrial land,
apartment buildings, stand alone retail, restaurants, office
buildings, call centres, banks, industrial buildings,
warehousing, shopping centre and institutional buildings.

David Higgins, Construction Safety Supervisor
David is responsible for
managing all aspects of operations of APM's Safety program.
He
has worked with APM for the
past fourteen years in many management roles within our
various divisions.
Working from our Halifax office he has
been responsible for sales, marketing and management of our
sign manufacturing division, sales and leasing for APM
Properties, marketing and customer liaison for our fixturing
division and quality assurance for APM Construction. David
has worked hard with our broad base of customers and helped
maintain a high level of service and customer satisfaction.
In his new role as Construction Safety Supervisor , he will work with our
employees, subcontractors and customers to build and
maintain a safe and healthy workplace. At APM safety is
built into the culture of our company.
